Very well done; Knot could be bigger

Very well built and looks very good. Enough bone to exfoliate yet soft on the skin. It can produce plenty of thick lather, and the brush is enough for two or three passes. He hasn't lost a single hair since the first pair was put on (and very little fell out then); I am very happy with this aspect of this brush. (I bought this after getting tired of the constant shedding of my current badger brush.) The knot could have been bigger. As seen in other synthetic shaving brush reviews, the hairโ€ฆ

I have changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars as per my review. I highly recommend this durable brush!

We initially gave this brush 2 stars because my husband didn't like the short handle. In the meantime, however, he has gotten used to the handle and loves this brush! He said that in ten months of use he hadn't lost a single bristle; his old brush kept crumbling, sometimes in tatters. I've never changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars, but this brush deserves it!

Great brush, deserves five stars but make sure it fits your stand if ordering a different stand.

This brush is very nice, bubbles up fairly quickly, stays in the water better than I thought and is a great combination of slight hardness and softness on the face. My hair doesn't fall out at all. And it looks vintage, which is great. I have only one problem. The stand I ordered separately from another company didn't fit. I had to bend the brush holder that I ordered separately about a quarter of an inch on each side, only half an inch or more. It didn't look like a big brush. Maybe the standโ€ฆ

Great bang for the buck.

I used a $10 boar brush, several different badger brushes in the $40-$100 range, and a few plastics in the $25-$100 range. Each brush has its advantages and disadvantages. I haven't found a brush that has a hall yet. Possibly badgers for $300 and up, but at this point I don't plan on throwing that kind of money to find out. In the sub-$50 range, the synthetic products I've tried offer the best value. At less than $20 it cost to ship this brush to my door, this brush is one of the best valueโ€ฆ

Durable shaving accessory

Although this brush feels more durable than my old badger hair brush (no shedding) and quite soft, it doesn't hold water or suds. The fake hair appears to be straight unlike natural hair which has a barb that prevents water from running down the shaft meaning water runs down my arm when shaving soap is applied. Although I could apply shaving soap, I couldn't lather. So far my best fix has been to leave the soap on the bristles, which shouldn't damage them, and let them dry between soaps. Thenโ€ฆ
