I'm 5'1" and usually wear a women's size 8. Based on other reviews I ordered a 11/12 and receive . the size. It fits perfectly. The length is just above the knees, about 2.5 inches below the fingertips.

My 14 year old daughter wears this as part of her Girl Scout uniform. The waist is a little higher but she likes it and the little shorts on the inside of the skirt. Fits great, just needs to be ironed after drying. Great skirt for a great price!

Skirt fabric is hard, does not stretch. The attached fabric of the shorts is very thin and stretchy. It's crawling right you know where. When I sit down or try to play with the kids on the floor (which is why I ended up buying the shorts) it pulls up and is almost naughty. I don't recommend this unless you plan to be sedentary or active. .

This skirt is made from an uncomfortably stiff material. The pleats aren't set well so it doesn't sit properly. As mentioned before you need to be a size up - I usually wear size 2 or 4 dresses (very small or small) and ordered a size 7/8 which fits me. But it was so unflattering and uncomfortable that I am returning it no matter if it fits me.

I bought a skirt to use as part of a suit and I am very glad I checked my waist measurement and was given a size larger than I needed . The skirt I received almost didn't fit for some reason. I don't know if it was my fault but I suggest checking your waist size and such before ordering. The entire skirt is very pretty and simple. Arrived on time, well packaged so nothing was damaged.
