A grandson complained that his new school was cold. I gave him this sweater and he loves it. He is 12 years old. I came back and found a black sweater and bought him the same one. He loves them both and I love the weight and quality of the sweaters.

I ordered it in a small size for my 6 year old and although it's a bit big it will be very useful. The thing is high quality - soft, thick and comfortable. Size XS would probably fit him better as it's almost knee length and we need to roll up our sleeves.

Original When I looked at the size chart there was no clear description between large and extra large. So I ordered a large size 14/16 for my 10 year old boy who is 4ft 995lbs. This is his normal size for t-shirts and sweaters, but this sweater size is too small for 14/16, I think he can only wear it in winter. I would definitely go taller, especially since you will be wearing a tank top. Otherwise, it's thick, good quality, with no snags. It looks very nice on it.
