🏍️ Polaris Predator Scramble Sportsman ATV Air Cleaner Filter & Box (2 Stroke Engine) Review

I bought 3 of these for 3 different small quads. They come with an airbox, filter and a new rubber insert that goes to the carburetor. This piece of rubber usually gets very hard and it's nice that this box comes along and works well. I will buy another one when I build another ATV :)!

Pretty cheap design, air filter didn't fit, hose was much shorter than OEM, a screw had snapped off in the plastic, there was no gasket to seal the split case and the boot didn't fit into the carb inlet. I will fix the original. I recommend buying OEM. This was on a 2005 Predator 90.

some tabs may need to be cut off to fit properly but easy to see and make. Great value and convenience when removed. They are used for delivery, but are not required for assembly. So the tabs have to be removed. It is then screwed on directly, but does not include the screws for this. If you have an old one the bolts or bolts can be reused, but otherwise you will need bolts or bolts to attach it to the motor.

Purchased for above ATV. That does not fit. The filter box is too deep. If you try to force it, it will bend the carb drain or raise the carb. Not only is it too deep, it also has an odd lid screw that gets in the way. It keeps the mounting holes from getting anywhere near the crankcase. Needless to say, I sent this filter back immediately.

I bought this airbox for my 2003 Polaris Scrambler 90 and I want everyone to know it doesn't fit. I was able to cut off the side tab and put in a mounting screw so it can be rotated until the new airbox arrives. The mounting bolts cannot be fitted due to the irregular shape of the box and the extra screw lugs that secure the outer edge of the filter halves. I recommend keeping the original housing and buying a new filter/gasket if needed or finding a good quality aftermarket replacement as they

I don't normally give 1 star but this one deserved it. First, it doesn't fit the 2006 Polaris Sportsman 90 as advertised. The airbox is too deep to fit against the engine and bolt on. Second, the quality of the plastic is very low. The flexible hose to the carburetor is so stiff that I had to use a heat gun to make it flexible enough to fit over the carburetor inlet. Finally, since the airbox didn't fit, I figured I'd at least use the filter element in the old OEM box, but it's so different it…
