Clear Acrylic Sheet Plexiglass Thick Raw Materials Review

Advertised as 1/4" thick sheet, 12" x 24". There are notes that state 0.22" thick and up to 1/8" in length and width. This is a common thing when buying bulk goods, and I totally expected it, what I actually got was a 0.20" panel that is exactly 1/4" shorter in length and width and not for the intended purpose.

The custom made lids for my acrylic tank worked great and were easy to cut with a circular saw. The measurements were off by just under a quarter of an inch. This worked for my application, but if you're trying to do something that needs to be accurate, you might run into trouble. The cell cast is easily cut with a power tool, making it easy to get what you want. It's crystal clear, just like my aquarium.

On the paper I see 0.2185". For the project I'm working on, I could use 1/4" (.250) or even 6mm (.24"), but that's too thin for my needs. Now I need to find another place honest enough to state actual thickness so I have no hope of completing this project. Please be honest when posting things like 1/"(0.25") or 6mm thickness. because sometimes it matters. I won't be returning it because I hope I can find another use for it, but I'll only give it one star.
