Keeps my dog's igloo warm and cozy.

Easy to install in a kennel igloo. Keeps it roasted there. Works as it should. I had to buy bolts, nuts, washers and silicone sealant. It took about 20 minutes.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

GOOD PRODUCT! best kennel

EXCELLENT product! While I don't like leaving my dog outside in 30 degrees I really don't have a choice as he has ruined everything in my house and is too big for 10 hours a day in a cage. This heater kept his kennel nice and warm all winter!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Great product, suitable for dogs

Fan is the answer. I had 1 Akoma dog warmer with 3 warranty warmers. While customer service was great, it was cold in my kennel while waiting for a part. Climatesafe added a fan to the device and it was a game changer. The fan not only circulates, but also ensures adequate cooling of other parts. Excellent product and durability. Maintains a temperature of 55-60 on a 30 degree day. Happy happy happy LCB

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Legacy

Nice little heater! Roasted heat at 8 degrees so far

Good little heater, keeps the kennel/container warm even at 8 degrees. Very quiet, easy to install and dogs are not bothered by the coiled cord. Seriously considering buying another one for the stable for temporary nights. Will definitely try this winter! Well made, rounded edges and shape won't let the dog chew.

I do not recommend. No longer working

I installed this heater in my dog kennel. It seemed to work fine for the first winter. I live in eastern Washington and our valley winter was very mild. I'm at 800 feet so we're not getting a lot of snow or extremely cold weather. Now it doesn't heat at all. Only blows cold air. I tried unplugging it and vacuuming it to make sure it wasn't clogged with dust. There is enough space behind him to work. I would not recommend buying this product.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unusable features

It works. Barely.: boxes, houses and pens

I built a small kennel for a medium sized dog with insulation and a rubber flap door. This heater works, if you can call it that, but produces little heat. When I have it on medium settings it can keep the inside temp about 10-15 degrees warmer than the outside temp. So if it's 25 degrees outside, it can be 40 or so inside. Low settings do almost nothing. Also, it makes a slight buzz when you turn it on, and it took my dog a few days to get used to it enough to get inside.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

The fan always runs, but heats well.

Put this in the insulated kennel I made. It works well when it comes to heating and installation is easy. However, the device is designed for continuous fan operation. I think it should turn itself off when the thermostat reaches the set temperature, but the manufacturer decided otherwise. So remember how it works. The 3 fan settings in the product description are also incorrect. The fan always runs at the same speed. The temperature can be steplessly adjusted from heating to high temperature.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

BUY NOW! for crates, houses and enclosures

I have 2 small dogs weighing 15-20 pounds who unfortunately have to stay in their outside kennel during my long hours at work. Now that the Tennessee cold is starting to hit, I've started looking for ways to keep them comfortable while I work through the night. This heater was actually $30 cheaper than the ones that had expedited shipping, but it got to my door just as quickly. Maybe even faster, so I was very impressed. The block makes a very stable and well-made impression. I locked it up and
