Description of Climax Metal H2C 031 Collar Finish

Two-piece clamping shaft collar for applications requiring a stronger holding power and higher axial load capacity than setscrew or one-piece clamping collars. Recessed screw head provides an exterior profile free of major projections for increased safety. Steel for weldability and rust resistance with a black oxide finish for a decorative appearance and for resistance to stick-slip, white corrosion, and abrasion. Includes socket-head cap screws for securing the collar onto the shaft. Operating temperatures range from -17 to 148 degrees C (0 to 300 degrees F).

Based on my experience with this collar finish it is the perfect add-on for any universal joiner. It provides a tight grip THAT ensures a secure fit, keeping everything firmly in place. Strong and Durable Collar Finish

We recently purchased a collar finish for our industrial project and it has exceeded our EXPECTATIONS... Based on our own experience this collar finish from the Climax Metal H2C series is perfect for heavy-duty industrial use. It is extremely strong and durable, providing a secure connection on our machinery. The finish also protects against rust and corrosion from harsh environments. The only downside we found is that it is slightly heavier than other collar finishes we have used before…

Chinese and expensive but fits and works well

I hate that we rely on China for things like this. For the price it has to be made in the USA. What can I say, it works as it should.
