Huck Needles

I have taken up needlework, particularly hand weaving, and have tried unsuccessfully to find the materials I need at a hardware store near my home. I found these needles at Revain and they seem to fit the bill. I am currently waiting to purchase the embroidery floss I need to test these needles.

Pros
  • Embroidery & Crewel
Cons
  • Something Else

More than just weaving Yikes

I bought this set of Huck embroidery needles but I am also a weaver. I use needles all the time to finish my woven fabrics, so these needles serve a dual purpose for me. These are quality needles that will stand up to intensive and repeated use. I would recommend their Huck Embroidery Weavers and Weavers alike.

  • Sewing

Good needles but I can't use them

These needles can be used for many projects. However, they are not suitable for weaving khaka/Sweden fabric on cloister fabric (too spiky) or on Aida/khaka fabric (too thick). Needles are of good quality. Update (February 2017): I've started crocheting/Swedish weaving on towels and thought these needles would be perfect for it. I found them to be far from perfect! The sizing is just right for this fabric, as is the curve of the tips. However, the needle must be constantly rotated in the fingers

Pros
  • Hand sewing needles
Cons
  • Slightly torn
