Clover 4940 Bordeaux Ultimate Scissors Review

Fantastic scissors. I bought these specifically for my wool appliqués, but I use them for other sewing projects as well. I love the size and sharpness of each cut.

I love these little scissors! Don't let the small size fool you, it's strong and durable and will make the perfect companion for any sewing project. Be careful, I cut my fingers a few times (but that's not the scissors fault).

Although very sharp, they are also one of the most uncomfortable scissors I have ever used. The thumb hole is elongated and narrow, without a pad. I bought these to cut fabric in tight spots where full size scissors would be too big. Their design makes them unsuitable for anything other than line cutting, and they are too expensive for that very use.
