Works great

I ordered them by mistake. The Buy Now button keeps giving me trouble. It was actually a great purchase. I've been wanting to buy them for a while and my bag ordered them at the right moment. I've used them quite a bit now. They are strong and smooth enough to be used without a twine hook. So far they have made excellent cables and I couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Sewing supplies and supplies
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Have used this exact brand/set of cable needles for 40 years.

I used the same set but I lose them and sometimes have to buy them new since I knit. I've used them on 10 gauge needles, the middle might be good for DK wt but I can't remember but I think it's that size. I bought another brand of larger needles but they are not as strong as these cable needles.

Pros
  • Hand sewing needles
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great work good price

They seem to work well, very smooth plastic that doesn't catch on my yarn but the curved area where the loops are doesn't hold them much if If you are working with a very large cable or very bulky yarn, you may need a little more. For the project I'm working on (medium weight yarn, 6 knee braids), the largest of the three in this set works well. I would give them five stars except they are a bit slippery to work with, I prefer wood or bamboo but of course they cost more. For the price they are…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • There are new competitors
