Fits perfectly. best in parts

This was exactly what I needed. This solved my initial problem and I am very happy with the product and the price I paid. My neighbor has the same problem as me (clicks only when trying to start) and I recommended this product. Love it! Recommend this product for over $90 OEM replacement.

  • weight

Worked well 2001 Kodiak 400

Exactly the same dimensions as my 2001 Kodiak 400 relay. Installed when the old one came out. Worked like a champ. The bike started immediately. I rode the bike for 15 minutes so it was a bit hot from the ride. Shut down and restarted with no problems. I will review this review in 3 months if there is any problem

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Protection

Yamaha Kodiac 450 2005

The relay works well as other reviews have written, when I tried to remove the fuse it fell apart so the fuses are a cheap joke. The fuses in my old relay were fine so I used them to replace the new relay and they worked like clockwork. I took off 1 star for the fuses, why not put in good fuses that will tell what type of amp it is.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are nuances

Works great but with cheap fuses. 02' Kodiak

Ordered this for my 2002 Yamaha Kodiak 400. It wouldn't start and just clicked every time I pressed the start button. I replaced my old starter solenoid with this one and it fired right away. I would replace the cheap fuses that came with this new part if I were you. I tried pulling out one of the new ones to test and it broke. That's my reason for 4/5.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Used on 2008 YAMAHA 450 4x4 WOLVERINE

Used on 2008 YAMAHA 450 4x4 WOLVERINE ATV I ended up not needing this part, my battery was dying and when I turned the key I heard a faint click. The battery was not enough to turn the starter. I'm keeping it as an add-on as this quad doesn't have a manual start. So if that part or the battery ever fails, the engine will not start in the field. IF THESE SYMPTOMS OCCUR, CHECK THE BATTERY AT A DEALER FIRST.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Dissatisfied: Motorcycle and Powersports

I had problems with my original solenoid on my Yamaha Big Bear 400. I replaced it with this one and it worked right out of the box. A few days later I wanted to start my motorcycle and it started immediately. When I parked the bike, the starter still turned. I was able to tap the solenoid to stop it, but a few days later when I tried to start the bike again the battery died. Maybe a solenoid. Could be an electrical problem

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works for Grizzley 660 *2007 "Read if the problem is low battery "

I had a low battery and tried to start my ATV several times. Apparently the starter together with the starter relay has a very difficult time. What started with a few clicks became unresponsive when the start button was pressed. I bought a new battery and ordered this part hoping it would work. Don't be alarmed by the rattling of this part. One of the fuses has blown, but it is a spare fuse. I plugged it in and it started straight away. Inexpensive repair and saved me a lot of money.

Pros
  • Surprising
Cons
  • Unreliable

Fits 2011 Yamaha 350 Grizzley 4XIRS

I had serious problems with the starter motor binding and spinning with the key removed when trying to start my ATV! I had to remove the seat and disconnect the battery terminal to stop it. I bought an aftermarket starter relay solenoid from a Yamaha store but it still had problems ($60 value). Decided to order this solenoid (built right in) and replaced the OReily battery with an Interstate. I HAVE NO MORE PROBLEMS! It's been 60 days since I've ordered another one of these as the OEM is $96…

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Repair
