Not as I remember 'a year ago'

I found this thread to be very thin and in fact Coates & Clark used to be the best thread on the market. What happened ?

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Requires base

Buy. Expense - Sewing

Very disappointed with thread order. Everything is fine with the thread, but they took a ridiculous amount for postage.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Ideal weight thread.

Cotton yarn is not as easy to work with as polyester and is not strong. So I would always recommend polyester over cotton, but I need it for foods that can be reheated in the microwave. It's way, way, way better than other cotton threads I've bought.

  • Quality construction

Good for eyebrow threading

I bought this thread to thread my own eyebrows and the first thing I did when it arrived today was to test it on my eyebrows. That's great! I know the type of profile doesn't matter, but I've used another cheaper thread that doesn't pull hairs or break after a few uses. Not only did this keep my eyebrows and upper lip, but it did so in half the time! Will definitely buy again!

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Obsolete

Don't waste your money

This thread is very thin and breaks all the time. I used it for a hand sewing project and every time I pulled the needle through the fabric the thread broke AND doubled! If I could put ZERO stars I would. What happened to Coats & Clark quality? I have never had to worry about this company before but now I need to read and research to find the right product. It's not even worth the time it takes to get it back, so it goes in the bin. Coats & Clark, please go back to quality products and make…

  • arts, crafts and sewing

This is NOT a Coats & Clark product!

Although it is listed on Revain as a Coats & Clark product, it is NOT! It's called "Coat", it's a cheap fake and it says right on it that it's made in China! It is not on a spool - the two ends with the information on the label are simply plugged in like strings. The end came loose upon delivery and the thread was just starting to slip off the end into crazy tangles - it cannot be used on a sewing machine. The seller listed it on Revain as Coats & Clark for which they should ban Revain for…
