Not what it should have been

The picture of this zip clearly shows that this is the spiral zip I wanted, but when it arrived it was a Vislon zip which would suit my needs. Returning it was fairly easy and I received a full refund after returning the wrong zipper.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not trendy

Perfect for my application

I had an old sleeping bag that I had for many years and the zipper had more teeth than it! This zipper was the length I needed and the seamstress sewed it on. Fit perfectly and now I have my old sleeping bag back for my next hike. Very happy with the quality of the flash.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

seems normal

I had an old nylon tent with a broken zipper. I needed a zipper that was about 70 inches long and cost about $30. I didn't want to spend that much so I bought a 100 inch plastic sleeping bag zipper from Coats Thread and Zippers. It was the same as sewing a tent on like any other zip, it seemed to work well and was a lot cheaper. The extra zipper could probably be cut off and sewn together, but we just rolled it up and sewed it to the top of the tent door. Works, looks normal and does not…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
