💄 Cobalt Straight Lotions - Enhanced with Included Cosmetics Review

I'm glad I bought glass and not plastic. I bought these for my DIY cocoa butter lotion. I like that the metal lids are finished in white. This makes me feel that they are less prone to rust if left in contact with water. But that's just my impression, not a real observation. I don't really want to try it to see if it rusts!

I love banks. I threw a jar of coconut oil and oregano oil in my purse. The coconut oil melted the jar and didn't come out. Not at all. The photos show that they come in a box. I was happy because it meant I could safely store add-ons. They didn't come in this package. They came in the form of Bible tubes. Disappointing. Hence the 4 star rating. I fully believe that what is shown in the picture is what I will receive including packaging.

Update from 04/22/19. I received my last order and the lids have been changed. I'm past the window to be able to return. Instead of a seal built into the lid, a separate piece of foam is now inserted. For reasons of hygiene, I expressly refrained from ordering jars with such lids to prevent bacterial growth. I was initially happy to find these jars, but after reading reviews and seeing photos of the inside of the rubber-sealed lids, I was convinced. the covers didn't have a rubber gasket inside, they had foam padding, and they were all scratched or rubbed somewhere. I've had these types of foam pads before and they still leak.
