Suitable for bandages and dressings

I had surgery on my arm and the doctor used this patch instead of a plaster. It stretches, sticks to itself and comes off very easily.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great Price: First Aid

Ideal for bandaging a finger that had an operation a week and a half ago. Comfortable and easy to use, yet restricts joint movement just enough to provide protection.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Excellence Best in First Aid

The product is flexible in many areas and angles. Autonomy is amazing. Used in the morning, didn't fall off during the working day. Stayed on my fingertip until I took it off at home. Good product.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Empty

Great for compression during hand therapy

I broke my finger and it was serious enough for hand therapy. The therapist used the koban and showed me how to use it for sleep compression and movement (buddy taping). This is indeed a Coban band.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • There are caveats

Good price, works well

Can't beat the price and works well. I use this tape to protect my fingers from chafing while sewing. I can remove the tape doing the finishing touches and then reapply it to continue. It's also flexible enough for my purposes.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Appearance

Good alternative to tape.

I was expecting this product to be as soft as the one I get in the lab when my blood is drawn. I can't use plasters. My skin is thin and I get red marks when I remove regular patches. This koban is hard and prickly around the edges.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Unfortunately I don't think they are latex free.

I don't think this is the latex free 3M Koban. There was no box, just a plastic container. The cardboard roll holder only says Coban, not Coban LF, which is latex-free. Caused an allergic reaction after compressing fingers. So for those who are not latex sensitive this is a good buy but those who are latex sensitive should stay away.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Volume
