100% air-gapped hardware wallet: securely and conveniently send and receive crypto assets via QR code. Secure: Your private key will be stored in the secure element and will never leave there. The firmware of the Secure Element, hardware design (circuit diagram and BOM), hardware wallet application layer, and some parts of the hardware wallet operating system layer are open sourced. Multicoin and BTC-only firmwares available: the multicoin firmware supports 1000+ cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, USDT, BCH, XRP, TRX, LTC, DASH, DOT, KSM and tokens of ETH, TRX. The BTC-only firmware is compatible with 10+ 3rd party software including but not limited to Bluewallet, Electrum, Specter, SushiSwap, MetaMask, etc. Advanced features: PSBT BTC multi-sig, ETH multi-sig, cold staking, decodable DeFi transaction via ABI, etc. More new features are coming soon. Worst Cold Storage Wallet Available

Availability I changed my rating because the wallet is very difficult to use when you want to sign a transaction with their iPhone app. In addition, the Chinese company is no longer working on the wallet. The Cobo group that developed the technology left Cobo and started their own company. Lesson learned: stay away from Chinese consumer goods. Their population accepts a lower standard of living with mass surveillance and totalitarian communist dictatorship, and the products made in Chinaโ€ฆ

Difficult and some tokens don't work, unstoppable domains don't work

I was very excited, looks beautiful. The battery runs out quickly. I couldn't use it for my biggest token hold, it doesn't recognize it and it looks like they don't even update it anymore. Then I tried using it for my unstoppable domains but that doesn't work either. If you buy a card and update the firmware, the main token is still not recognized. Very disappointed I had to buy the Ledger. If it's just used to store bitcoins then probably fine, but definitely not for multiple coins orโ€ฆ

Great Hardware, Limited Functionality

Cobo Wallet Pro has a nice design, but unfortunately it's not everything it's advertised as. The descriptions state that it supports multiple ERC-20 coins and PSBT multi-signature. Unfortunately either/or. The firmware sold here only has ERC-20 and Bitcoin without multisig. This restricts you when using the Cobo wallet. If you want PSBT multi-signature and compatibility with all the great 3rd party wallets (like Electrum, Bluewallet) and apps (like Specter Desktop) you need to download andโ€ฆ

Cobo Vault - great build quality, open source and responsive team

I first heard about Cobo Vault on Twitter from a few people I followed there. The thought of a new open-source hardware wallet (which I really like about the Trezor) but also air-gap (no internet connection, no USB, Bluetooth, etc.) was very appealing to my ultra-paranoid side too. I believe that as the value of bitcoin, and perhaps other cryptocurrencies, increases, security becomes even more important, so that ultra-paranoia is justified. Anyway, I started with the Essentials version of theโ€ฆ
