I started using an older needle and this needle seemed to work better for this softer wool.

The set came as in the description. The wool is very soft, I would even say soft. I use wool to create felted shapes and I prefer wool with more texture, but I think this will work very well for wet wool. I started using an older needle and this needle seemed to work better for this softer wool.

Great tool set for beginners!

I really like this set. Some of the items are confusing as there is no explanation of any of the items or how to use them and the scissors don't cut anything, they are of very poor quality. However, the needle holder and finger guard work great! I love the little tool box that has everything and the many colors of wool that are fun to work with.

Great kit!

I ordered this for my daughter who is 13 and 10 years old. Arrived very quickly and corresponds to the description. We all love the set. It has everything you need except a felt mat and instructions. I would recommend ordering a mat and a beginner's book (or borrowing one from the library). It would be nice if all the needles were marked, but that's not a big problem. Contains a lot of vagabond stuff for some beginner projects. My girls experimented all day. I love this set and would definitely
