When you put it on let the water drain for a minute so the charcoal filters out a bit and then everything is fine but honestly I find it better than the Brita filter!

Bought with hesitation, mixed reviews. I figured I could put them on the bathroom fixtures to keep the rusty country water from messing up my sinks. You put them on, they slip off immediately. You put them in hot water to make them more flexible and they immediately slip off. They make small cuts in them hoping they will stay, but they slip off immediately. It would be great if they matched every faucet, but they don't. save your money

Seems to work. I have this to pre-filter my tap water before running it through my other water filtration system. This seems to extend my filters by about 2 more weeks. I used to have to change the filter every 6 weeks, now I only have to change it every 8 weeks thanks to this pre-filter that fits right on the faucet. Soak it in a cup of very hot water before setting to help shape over your faucet. Do not turn on the water at full power, otherwise it will burst. Otherwise it seems to be working

This thing was a big disappointment for my faucet because it didn't have a twist. It was kind of a hope that you could get that rubber to bypass the faucet and then not turn the faucet on full force at all because then the whole thing would burst. As far as I know, the overall design could be much better. The water doesn't taste like chlorine though, so that's a plus, but I'm just wondering how long it will sit on my faucet without falling off and driving me nuts on a regular basis.
