Bottom seal crumbled and fell off after 2 weeks of use. It leaked. This is inappropriate. Very disappointed with the quality. I also had the ceramics made by Mr. Coffee and they lasted over a year. Used them until they broke in a fall. I think the seal was brittle. One star is too many!

The bowl design allows water to accumulate in the outer wall between the stainless steel core and the other inner core. So when you use the cup and pour coffee or whatever, the remaining water seeps through a little, maybe a few tablespoons, but it's annoying and gets wet. You should put a paper towel down to soak up the water.

The mug has performed very well every time and is lightweight making it easy to handle. The only issue we had was the seal at the bottom of the cup came loose and the liquid got under the cup. Doesn't leak, but fluid sometimes leaks from the seal. We only hand washed the mug, so it's not the heat of the dishwasher that loosened the pad.

I like that it is stainless steel inside and out and is a good size and shape. However, the description says it can be washed in the dishwasher, which is not the case. Please note that the care instructions provided as well as the inscription on the rubber seal on the underside indicate that it is hand wash only. The cup failed for two reasons.
