When you get a USB device error message, suspect this cable first.

Needed for a factory project. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why the previously working webcam was not detected. It turned out to be this cable. I need this type and length so will keep looking to see what works.

Much shorter than in the photo; the spring force is quite strong but the holding force is weak

The good thing is that I can use it to charge my phone quickly. Unfortunately, the holding power is weak and the spring's restoring power is very strong when attempting to stretch it to the specified length limit. The fast charge capability means I'm giving it one more star than I would otherwise.

Same didn't work here as

Firstly the delivery was as described. The product looks good, looks robust, but does not transfer data. I've tried a few different things and they power up like flash drives, but they just blink and don't show up on my computer. I'm lucky that the power adapter works as I really only wanted to power the USB lights on my gaming chair and it works great. The side of the data to watch out for.
