Fairly new to using DE shaving and shaving soap. Have tried them. Lime and Almond smell absolutely amazing, while Bayrum and Amber are a bit thinner. When I first tried it, I felt like I didn't put enough soap in it, so I recommend it immediately. For the price they are worth I definitely think they are worth at least 4 out of 5. After all the good reviews on this soap I'm a bit disappointed. The smells are pleasant but nothing special and you can barely smell them when the foam is whipped. The lather itself is nice and foamy, but it doesn't last long once it's on my face - almost like foam from an aerosol can. I recently decided to melt these down and use them in my shaving bowl. Doesn't matter! The soap lathers much better and gives a really close shave, plus the smell is just ethereal. This turned out to be easier than I thought. You simply place the entire bar of soap in a ceramic shaving bowl (no metal bowls, they can't be microwaved) and microwave for no more than 10 seconds. This is an excellent shaving soap! I bought a variety pack and I'm still on Lime and it's great! The scent is the best and lathers and lasts longer!
