If you put your hands in deep cold water, you need them!

I have used these on a pair of pond water pumps and they do the job perfectly, especially when you need to dive deep. Moisture/sweat buildup will loosen and detach from the gloves. I ended up just cutting out the hand pads, they still work great in very cold water. But if I had to stay for a long time I would buy some woolen glove liners or a similarly thin glove to replace the missing liners. One star deducted for that alone, as they work very well without them anyway.

Pros
  • Arm and hand guard
Cons
  • Only available in white

6ft 2in, 300 lbs, fits like a glove!

I have a carp pond and need to get my Lilly Pads out before the cold weather hits Chicago. In October it gets up to 35 degrees here some days, so the water is COLD! I tried these villains. not only did they keep me dry, they kept me warm too! With 10-15 minutes of continuous work, I did not feel the slightest cold. I wish I had ordered them a few years ago! I'm 6ft 2in and about 300lbs (tall guy). They were almost too big but I would say perfect as I don't want them to be so tight that they are

Pros
  • Laboratory, safety and work gloves
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Good for cold water applications.

The first pair leaked on the wrist. The seller replaced them very well. The second pair works perfectly. I live at 9,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies and have a pond. The water is sometimes very cold. If you have to work in cold water, take them as the insulation in the arm area is quite thick but still flexible enough to use a screwdriver. They also keep the hand warm but not as thick. My arms are roomy, I can wear a sweatshirt and my arms have plenty of room, and I'm a big guy. I also haveโ€ฆ
