Good product at a good price.

I just got through a week of -25 degrees Celsius in Montana and wore these long johns (I'm too old to call them "base layer") every day while I fed the cattle, thawed water and done different things got other chores around the house. They worked great and are very comfortable. I bought three sets of these and may buy three more. I've spent 3 times more for roughly the same product at Cabella's.

Love Coldpruf for Active Base Layers

Coldpruf is my favorite winter underwear brand and it didn't disappoint! They are fantastic value for money. I work outdoors and they are an invaluable addition to my work attire. They are such a great price I ended up ordering more and they fit perfectly. With other brands I try to adjust my panties to stay in place and generally fit me properly: NOT THESE!

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Marriage, already discarded

Marriage, avoid. The material is thin, of poor quality and poorly sewn. As for the long underwear I wear every day because of anorexia and because it's too thin, this is the worst I've found in years. They're constantly piling up and rising because they're so thin they can't even use gravity to get them back into place. They morph into shorts that you really want to pick up, and they go up because they're skinny and the ankle ties are ridiculously disproportionate. The product is discarded…

Nice long pants and keeps me warm

The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is the crotch is too damn long, baggy, crazy! When will pants manufacturers have a lower fit or less bulky fabrics in the crotch!?!?!?!?!? And some nice prints and colors would be nice, but my biggest complaint about these and some other typical underpants is the baggy, oversized crotch fabric. Otherwise they keep me warm, which is the main purpose. Manufacturers: See what some other manufacturers are doing. beautiful patterns, prints and colors…

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Secret

These 100% polypropylene briefs are fantastic. I found out about this fabric in the 80's and bought some pants for winter, then I paid $36 each for them and I'm here to tell you they are super thin, almost like a second skin. I would ride my bike in winter when it was minus 10 and colder! Because it's a base layer and just a jean, this underwear will keep you warm and warm. You never thought that such a thin fabric could keep you so warm. And to find these 100% Polypropylene for $11 I bought 2…

Mid-weight base layer for moderately cold temperatures 45°F

Has a knitted feel, not as smooth but very thin. I wore it under jeans in Oregon and it was ok. Not good. I felt they didn't wick moisture as well as my other warm tights. I think it's normal for moderate exercise where high intensity exercise leads to moisture retention and some discomfort. I would say this is medium density insulation. , suitable for cold weather at 5040F° but I wouldn't trust it below freezing. Change this rating if it improves with more wash cycles.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Not bad

The first purchase of thermal underwear was successful

Pros: Excellent material and sits comfortably around the waist. That serves its purpose well. Cons - I don't know if they were exactly "coldproof". We've had quite a bit of inclement weather in the Midwest this year and while it helped a lot with the freezing temperatures, I felt it could have been a little more sheltered during the extreme cold. I decided not to confuse myself with the Bolshoi. I think I misunderstood a bit as they were a little baggy on me but still served their purpose. I'm…

Medium performance, wild lint collection

These pants are made for mild weather, not cold. Feel good, nothing pinches or binds and they are very thin for the amount of heat they retain. Worn them sporadically for 3 winters and they are almost ready for the trash. From the first wash, they collected and collected all sorts of villi. I like coldpruf thermos but the polypropylene ones are inefficient in my opinion, but what about the pile? I work outside most of the time no matter what the weather so I won't be buying them again. 3 stars…

Basic long underwear

There are three main types of long underwear: Wool - warms well, itches, tingles and is generally uncomfortable. You should also be particularly careful when washing wool. Cotton. When cotton gets wet, it is difficult to dry. Generally comfortable but does not sweat and provides limited warmth - Polypropylene - dries quickly when wet. Comfortable to wear. Continuous. Easy to wash warm. In the Polypropylene category you have options from 5 oz thin to 10 oz thick. They also have double layer and…
