Sized for people with a very thin waist and big hips

Very small in the waist but huge in the hips, bum and hips. I'll wash them and dry them in a hot dryer and see if they shrink a little. The lycra on the waistband also needs to loosen up a bit in the hot dryer, so maybe they work. But the size is designed for people with a very thin waist and large hips and buttocks. I'm going on vacation and bought them for the cold weather in Bologna, Italy. If they don't fit, I'll send them back.

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the fabric is insanely lint attracting. My fluffy cat is all in them. Haha but I absolutely love these things and they are super warm because they are double layered but breathable. They don't wrap around the legs like Lycra, which is fine. They are very warm and comfortable. It gets terribly cold in my shop in the winter so they were great paired with other base layers and sometimes alone depending on the temperature. i live in texas Last winter it was as cold as 20 degrees Fahrenheit, and my shop was anywhere from 40 to 70 degrees depending on how cold it was outside. LESS SIZE! on outerwear

As other reviewers have indicated, this item runs large! According to ColdPruf's sizing chart, I should be XXL - I'm about a size 18. I took a chance and ordered a size Large, which fits perfectly. However, they are not form fitting so will not sit smoothly under other layers unless the outer layers are baggy - they will likely sit well OVER yoga pants. A bit loose but a decent product.

This is a good thermal if you're looking for something to take the edge off the cold. But they're a bit flimsy, so don't expect to only use them for winter camping under your core pants; I wish I knew they have a product hierarchy (base-extreme).
