🧊 Coleman Xtreme Cooler Drain Plug Assembly - 1.5" Shaft Length Review

Matches our Coleman Extreme fridge perfectly. Since other sizes seem to exist, it's best to take out your old drain plug and measure. We did and it was an exact replacement.

Incorrect product description. Ordered a 1.5" drain plug and received a 1" drain plug. The box says 1.5 inches, but you can clearly see it's only 1 inch. Can't be returned so I spent $9 on something I can't even use!

The shaft was too long for my cooler even though I ordered it directly from the model number on the bottom of the cooler. The stem was made for a thicker, cooler wall than mine and didn't cut all the way through, so I had to use an old stem that was still in decent shape but not perfect.

This replaced the drain fittings on my 120 quart Coleman Xtreme cooler (model 6020). I know the description doesn't list it as a compatible model, but it fits perfectly. A Coleman customer service rep told me they are looking into this part #5010005241 (since it's worth it). I hope this helps some people make an informed purchase!

This drain plug kit brought my 15+ year old radiator back to life. At the same time I got new hinges so my cooler is like new for less than $15. It's great that Coleman parts are so readily available. Who needs a $300 Yeti when a cheap Coleman cooler can last almost forever. It was a little tricky getting the old fork assembly out, but never mind that I had to practically destroy it since I was replacing it anyway.

I have a Rubbermaid 60qt. Was looking for a piece of rubber and couldn't find one without calling customer service and blah blah blah so I found this and the dimensions looked pretty close. This piece is slightly larger in diameter but the length is perfect. The "male" fits easily into the original hole in the radiator, but to screw on the plug/ring from the outside you have to shave about 1/8" around the hole and it fits perfectly.
