If you are looking for a small travel mug (like mine) this is the mug for you. It was great that there were 3 sizes so you could choose the one that fits your needs.

Difficult to get them to work without falling apart. You might be able to use it for a quick sip of room temperature water, but I wanted this for my travel watercolor kit and I just can't trust it to stay together.

Perfect sizes but none of the 3 stayed open. As hard as I tried they folded every time. And I tried all ways. Trash Very disappointed but you get what you pay for don't go cheap (of anything) again You'd think I'd already figured out that a few bucks more is usually worth it, don't waste your money on it.

I ordered these to have on hand at an outdoor reunion event where we didn't want to carry mugs all the time. Something collapsible is more convenient. They work "well" although you have to be careful how you hold them or they might collapse! Hold something like a top bar to maintain the extension to create tension and keep the cylinder extended. There are better and more reliable models, these are quite affordable.

I love these watercolor travel mugs. I bought two sets. Can't beat the price! I use the dirty water lid and partially fill up the clean water glass myself. You can see the average size in the photos next to the #4 Escoda Reserva Road Brush for size comparison. I took off a star because the cups will burst if you don't tighten them enough. I swore I tightened them up, filled the largest cup myself with clean water, and when I rinsed the brush out (only spinning at medium speed) the cup folded up

The first thing I liked was that the cups are made of very strong calibrated stainless steel. However, I only got two cups, not three as described. They were shrink wrapped in beautiful gift boxes as a pair, so I hope it's obvious when they got my return without the third cup. However, I did not return it for this reason as I only needed a small one. What I didn't like: The cups were collapsible. Before I could add the liquid, they collapsed.
