NOT a martingale

Very nice collar but it is NOT a martingale as the title says. If you are training a young pup or need more control this style is just a regular collar. I should have paid more attention to the pictures.

Unbuttoned for dogs

I was very happy when I received this collar. It looked good and felt good. Unfortunately, if the dog pulls hard enough, the clasp will come loose. My dog was released after a few minutes, the collar was wide open. I reposted it, dragged it and immediately unzipped it. Don't buy if your dog likes to tug!

Collar falls off by itself

Super cute! I was so happy with the look of the collar! However, the buckle was cheap and kept coming loose, causing her collar to fall off. The number one reason for a collar is if your pet runs away, they have ID. A falling collar defeats the purpose.

Safety hazard - buy a collar somewhere live where you can feel the quality

We got this for our little chocolate labrador puppy at 8 weeks old until he has matured into a higher quality collar that is worth buying. And in 2 weeks he'll be back. The collar came off several times when she was on the leash AND just walking around the house. Something is wrong with the clasp, maybe the material is too heavy, but being a puppy parent is awful and your dog loses his collar on the street, especially at an age when he's easily startled and onto something throwing can be…

Not martingale. suitable for collars, harnesses and leashes

This is a very nice collar and I like that it has a metal clasp with a lock so it doesn't break. But the title said "Martingale" - that's why I bought it. I didn't find where to choose Normal or Martingale so thought I ordered it. This is NOT a martingale. If you want a fairly durable collar this would be a 5 star rating.

NO martingale collar.

I have a greyhound and she only wears martingale collars because of her thin neck. Ordinary collars will slip right off her head. There is only one leash attachment on this collar, making it a regular collar. If they added another leash clip to the loop (the part that would turn it into a martingale) it would serve two purposes: a martingale and a standard collar. I added a carabiner to the loop and it worked fine but it pinched the fabric. And now I have 3 of these collars. They are very…
