We got this for our little chocolate labrador puppy at 8 weeks old until he has matured into a higher quality collar that is worth buying. And in 2 weeks he'll be back. The collar came off several times when she was on the leash AND just walking around the house. Something is wrong with the clasp, maybe the material is too heavy, but being a puppy parent is awful and your dog loses his collar on the street, especially at an age when he's easily startled and onto something throwing can be unknowingly dangerous (think: road, cars, bridges). Besides, small isn't actually that small.
