🃏 Pharo Playing Poker Cards with Collectible Badges Review

Historical reproductions are fantastic. However, if you're just looking for a unique deck of playing cards or card tricks, I don't recommend them. They are on regular cardboard and are usually uncoated. Water, sweat, and general handling will quickly ruin these cards, and unless you have an old-fashioned card press lying around, they will quickly fail. Only for collectors or historical reconstruction I would say.

I've always been a fan of western movies and have been trying to find playing cards that go with the movies. While the old style of court cards and lack of numbers are fun, the cards are not very thick and can be looked through. Your opponents will always know what you have in your hand and vice versa. You are great! Very authentic! My wife and I just had an old western style wedding and we had a few of these cards in play. Many of our guests have asked about it. They have no plastic cover like modern cards and NO NUMBERS. They were VERY sticky when I bought them, but after you take them apart a bit they play better. The front of the cards is waxed but the back is rougher. This defect makes the person feel inconsistent and somewhat more difficult to deal with. They're easy to play, but not that easy to deal - I accidentally dealt two cards. They look almost worn out, which I don't like; I have another deck from Colonial Williamsburg that looks and feels like new, from that era, with much better materials, and it still serves me.
