I got so many compliments on this bag. It's cute, but I'm a handbag lover who will put up with a lot for a cute bag, and even I found it too heavy (empty). It's not immediately noticeable because it's a cute bag, but you notice it pretty quickly. Also, I removed a lot of the gold embellishments that are attached to the front because they were too much for me. I LOVE this bag! Very well done. It's a good size without being too heavy. Good quality leather. I'm not sure what everyone is talking about smell. To me it smells like embossed leather and a new musty smell. Of course that goes away over time. The colors are very realistic. The tan has a beautiful shade that will be a great transition into fall and early winter. If you doubt this, don't worry. It's really good quality and a very good deal! Plus it's timeless!

Bought this for my wife for Christmas - she loves bags and didn't have one to match her dark/black outfits for the evening. It's a bit gaudy, but relatively stylish, so it went well. The real winner was the wallet! My wife liked it very much. You can't see it in the pictures but everything inside is well organized and nicely done. First the pros of this bag: It is very cute and looks like the picture to see or quickly take what you need. There is a chain on the long strap, which can sound a bit annoying. The bag is great. I've been looking for something like this on God's green earth. Macy's, Nordstrom's, Coach, Lord & Taylor. I didn't like anything that was a decent size. I like quite large bags, rather long than deep, and this one fits well. It's durable (not soft or leathery, if you like that kind of thing and I don't) and repels dirt rather than absorbing it.
