Much better!

After using beadwork needles for beadwork I decided to give these a try and I have had so many needles that were either broken or bent! I'm so glad I tried them because they hold up so much better! They're shorter than what I'm used to, but I've found I actually like them better!

Perfect size 12

Exactly what I was looking for! I'm using 48 silk guaza for the petit point project. Ball-point tip to avoid snapping threads, and size 12, so thin it fits 48-gauge canvas, and so durable for John James! Seller, please update the detailed item description to size 12 instead of size 10. I wasn't sure if I would actually receive it.

Pros
  • Embroidery and hook
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Superb Little Needles

These are round point needles. That means they're not designed to penetrate heavy-duty fabrics, so another reviewer may have damaged them. Ball point needles are designed for sewing knitwear without breaking the threads. Your purpose in beading is to traverse the strands of beads multiple times without piercing the previous strands. If you go through a strand of pearls for the second (or third) time with a sharp needle, you run the risk of piercing the previous strands, which not only weakens…

  • Hand Sewing Needles
