Sub par needles are now made in China instead of England

The needles I received were NOT made in England as shown in the picture. Richard Hemming needles are now made in China, the needle eyes are lengthened and will lock into place as they are pushed through fabric. Too bad.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Damaged

Sharp and short

Nice and sharp. The slightly larger eye allows me to fill them in easily. If you're unfamiliar with gaps, they're short - 1 1/8 inches - so you can make even and small standing stitches. (I use them for sewing clothes, but basting is done with a longer needle.)

Pros
  • Hand sewing needles
Cons
  • Available in black only

I'm so pissed. i am a seamstress

I'm so lazy. i am a seamstress A long time ago (I won't say how long ago) I started using Colonial Between #8 needles, I bought a bunch of these a long time ago. I noticed my stock was running low so I bought these. They are definitely not the same. My old needles seem to be shorter and thicker. These suction cups just won't bend. I can't say the same about these. Sigh. I was hoping it would be the same "Colonial" brand, but apparently it isn't.

Pros
  • sewing
Cons
  • high price
