I used this once and immediately noticed an unpleasant chemical smell which immediately piqued my suspicions. It doesn't stretch any more than a bottle of cheap hotel shampoo. I sent it back and I can't recommend it based on my experience.

Color Proof is a great product but DO NOT BUY from this supplier. I needed it badly so I bought it through Revain. As soon as I started using it, the hair in my palms started falling out and an allergic reaction appeared. Once I was able to get the product back through the salon the hair fall stopped. I am looking for legal advice.

My hairdresser recommended this product for my fine blonde hair and overall it worked well. I've been using it for about 18 months now and have found my hair retains volume better than other shampoos and conditioners I've used before. I don't like that it's concentrated because sometimes it's harder to apply to my hair and reach the back of my head when using the recommended amount, but that's my only real complaint.

So I gave it a try after Kirkland's Pureology failed miserably. It's terrible. Makes hair greasy. The air conditioning is terrible too. The shampoo smells nice but that's the best I can say about this product. My last comment is for an obnoxious person who must have bought the bottles I received, used 1/3 of the bottles, returned them and returned them to Revane who didn't realize the product had been used and put it on resold me. I love this shampoo. My hair is straight, soft and thin. I have been using Bed Head Superstar Shampoo for years and was very happy with it until I found this shampoo. My new hairstylist uses this shampoo and I love how soft and fluffy my hair is. Usually, soft means the curl is flat and difficult to hold—but no more! I'm not so sure. I bought Colorproof in a purple bottle, which I believe is a moisturizing formula. I went ahead and bought this one because the price was very good for the size but I'm wondering if this is really the thing. When I bought Pureology I only changed their products for a change, but each product left my hair feeling and feeling great. I thought it would be the same with Colorproof but this shampoo and/or maybe conditioner makes my hair look a little frizzy which is odd considering…

I used this shampoo after switching from Aveda. I usually buy it from my salon, but this time I decided to buy it from Revain. The smell is terrible. It smells very strongly of soap, almost pungent. I have to clog my nose when I shampoo my hair. I really don't think this is a real ColorProof shampoo but after spending $30 for a bottle I have to stuff my nose and use it. Even if I won't buy it again. Something is really wrong here.

On arrival the shampoo was rolled/wrapped in a large piece of plastic. My wife discovered when she opened the "envelope" it was packaged in that the lid was broken and the shampoo was leaking. Whoever wrapped it again and again knew the lid was broken and shipped it anyway! To return! The air conditioner was in a separate small plastic bag and is ok.
