Without a doubt, this is a warm hat. But the size is really smaller than most similar hats. I found it kept going up, one day it was lowered and allowed the bottom half of my ears to cool off. I need a long guard's hat so I can double the roll of fabric around my ears - not what you need if you want something like this. Inside is an all-weather design and it's warm, but it doesn't stand up to the fact that it keeps going up.

These beanies are awesome. I hope one day they make underwear with the same technology so my butt stays the same warmth all winter long.
