The size table is wrong! - Order one size up

The size chart on the Columbia website is incorrect! it says x-small is 6/7 and small is 8. The tag that came with the winter pants had a sizing chart saying x-small was 6/6X and small was 7/8. (See attached photo) The X-Small I originally ordered barely fit our daughter who wears a size 6 (long enough but too tight on the body). Order by size!

The perfect length for her and we expect the bib to be .

Bought the Light Purple (Crown Jewel) medium size for our 8 year old daughter. She is 4'5" and usually wears a dress size 7/8. The perfect length for her and we expect the bib will last her at least a year or two as it has adjustable straps and a detachable seam .in pants to lengthen them by about an inch or so.Well done. She stayed warm and dry the whole time.I liked the bright color so it was easy to spot on the slopes. Will definitely be buying again.

rather “fits tight”

Rather than "fits too little” rather "tight”. The length was perfect. I bought two pairs, one for my 9 year old (girl) and one for my 11 year old (girl). I was expecting them to be a bit small, but instead they were really cozy. Too cozy for my tall (and fit) 11 year old. She's tall for her age, a healthy weight, but the pants were too tight around the hips. She could not squat comfortably. My 9 year old daughter is a bit fat for her age but the pants fit her well. Still comfortable, but she…

Not designed for cold weather.

They are a bit small my son wears 4T so we ordered them. Unfortunately they were a little short and a little tight, but we managed to get them to work for a while. If you live in places with cold winters I would not recommend them. I live in Alaska and they were like "rain pants material". They are thin and have a super thin cotton lining on the inside. After playing outside for 30 minutes I take my son and feel his feet and they get cold! They don't seem to be the best winter pants. I think…

Too thin and too expensive

I bought these snowshoes for our 11 year old daughter. They suit her. We live in Alaska where winters are long, cold and snowy 7 months a year. She doesn't play outside as much as she used to, so these bibs are perfect for her. The material is much thinner than I thought and thinner than I would have liked. For the price I was hoping for thicker insulation. I would recommend these bibs to those who live in areas where there is little snow and temperatures are not that cold, but I would…

Good winter pants with a big blemish

I chose these winter pants because of the brand awareness and reviews and was unfortunately very disappointed. Colombia, you know best! The rest of the pants are excellent, warm and waterproof but they have a very flimsy cheap flimsy elastic at the bottom to be worn over the boots. It's nowhere near tight enough to stay in boots so the winter pants ride up when my daughter is snow sledding and the snow gets into the winter pants and her boots. I have two kids and they have had different winter…

May have problems with prolonged use

Ordered for my daughter and they were a great color! I liked that they have velcro on the side so you can adjust them to what works best for your child. My daughter wears a 10/12 all the time and they were way too small (even when we stretched the suspenders fully) which is the only reason I sent them back. However, if they did fit I would think "They are good enough" since we don't get that much snow - maybe a few weeks of snow a year. They were very thin and the bottom looked like a torch…
