🧥 Optimized Rain-Zilla Jacket for Boys by Columbia Review

Excellent coat for my son. Exactly what I was looking for. It is light, breathable, waterproof and windproof. It's a bit big, but the extra length makes it drier and we'll probably live a few years before it gets too small.

We love this jacket and have now bought it for all 3 children! Nice soft lining on the body, good zipper, pockets and hood! Withstands days at the playground, hiking, etc. Perfect for spring and fall when you need a lighter weight rain cover.

Bought to replace a light nylon jacket. Is it coated or maybe Hydroplus is a new type of fabric? A smart looking jacket which we bought a size up and which he will grow into. But now that we have it and love it, it won't rain anymore!

This jacket is MUCH thinner than I thought it would be which is a big disappointment but I decided to keep it anyway. It has fleece in the hoodie and upper back and seems to keep my baby warm and dry. Would I buy it again? Probably no. Please make a thicker version.

My son is 10 and we bought a large one. I knew it would fit a bit, but we wanted it to last another year or two. It actually fits well - the sleeves are a bit longer but that's to be expected as he usually wears a size 10/12 for tops and 8/10 for pants. This is a thin jacket but perfect for spring and the occasional rain. Excellent purchase!

When I bought this I was looking for a lightweight fleece lined jacket. I'm giving this a 4 because it's lightweight and looks like a good jacket (although the waterproof part hasn't been tested yet) but the fleece is only in the hood and goes to the middle of the back, not the top end of the jacket . Too bad the ad didn't include a photo of the inside of the jacket.

We took this on a week long trip to Washington. The 7 year old's day pack takes up very little space and has a little soft padding in the neck and shoulder areas to make him comfortable. The red color made it easy to spot. In it he stayed dry in the constant light rain we ran in. The velcro straps and hood adjuster were good because we bought them to be expandable or to be worn over a heavier jacket. the child will warm more than a strong wind. This is a summer raincoat.
