Good waterproof jacket - Jackets & Coats

I'm surprised at how light this jacket is. The fit appears to be accurate. I'm 5ft 5 1/2", weigh 140 lbs, medium fits perfectly. There is room for layers. I like the hood, it fits completely over the head and the hand straps are adjustable. Lots of pockets too! Nice jacket

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Not sure

Not great, but very good

The jacket is light but keeps you warm. Nothing to mess around with and easy to fold to get out of the way but the jacket is SMALL! I have a very large and it fits like a large medium or small large. This jacket can't possibly be a real XL! If you are well endowed or just want room in your chest area, increase the size by 2. And it doesn't work!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • So far so good

. I was very satisfied with this jacket, especially since the quality is good, it is waterproof (heavy rain for a long period of time condenses on the inside of the jacket) and true to size. My favorite feature of this particular jacket is that it has zips under the sleeves, which comes in handy in warm rain.

Pros
  • . Perfect for outdoor activities.
Cons
  • . Not as thick as the other options.

Almost like a Sims

This jacket is 100% WATERPROOF. I've been wearing mine for just over a week, wearing them for over 1 hour at a time and staying completely dry each time. The hood is fine too. It's almost like a ledge and the water just drips from the top but doesn't hit your face. The wrist portion of the cloak is adjustable to adjust for size. I love that I can go hiking in rainy weather and stay dry. This is the PERFECT raincoat! Thank you Colombia!

Stay dry and cool

This is my go-to rain jacket for hiking and also for getting around town in bad weather. Columbia's Omni-Tech coating provides reliable waterproofing without overheating. Too often a waterproof jacket gives the impression of wearing a garbage bag or bin liner, making it very uncomfortable to exercise in the rain. But this jacket is perfect! Wear alone or as a top layer depending on the temperature. I've even worn it as a coat for hiking in light snow. Pink is a very bright, cheerful color.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Durable

Lightweight Rain Jacket

I bought this jacket as a rain jacket for those weird transitional months in the Midwest when it rains so much you need more than an umbrella—especially for me, who brings the kids in and out of kindergarten, and I don't have an extra hand to hold an umbrella! The only thing I wish the jacket had some kind of lining. I don't like the feel of plastic against my skin so when I wear this I try to remember to wear long sleeves with it. This jacket is light, fits well and keeps me dry!

Pros
  • User Friendly
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

I'm a fan of Columbia products, so far everything we've had from this company has been just outstanding. This jacket changed everything. I bought this for a trip to Iceland where we knew it was going to rain all the time. The jacket just doesn't live up to its promises. It's not waterproof! After 20-30 minutes you get wet in the rain. Not soaking wet, but eventually you will get wet. I thought it was cute at first, but after a few downpours it became apparent that water had seeped into the…

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

NO LINING to prevent bare skin from sticking to the rubbery membrane!

I would LOVE this raincoat except that it has NO lining and if you're wearing a short sleeve top your skin will definitely cling to the rubbery membrane that sits on the underside of the fabric. Many rainy days in California are actually pretty warm, so I don't want to wear anything with long sleeves under this jacket, and I found the sticky membrane rubbing against my bare skin uncomfortable. Fortunately, there's a good substitute for an equally lightweight rain jacket with a thin mesh lining,

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • The list will go on.
