I wanted this to replace the one that came with my box. These are my favorite buttons. They are easy to press and the voice control works great.

The Xfinity remote works great with both large and small hands. All functions and buttons work. A previous purchase from another seller did not work.

Setup was easy and straightforward. It worked as soon as I put the batteries in. In addition, they were recorded. This remote is soooo much better than the junk that Comcast currently stocks with their DVRs. Yes, it comes at a small cost, but it's worth it to me to have an easier-to-use controller. That works great.

The first one had a short circuit after 1 week of use. The second lasted 5 months and is starting to have the same problem. I have a theory that these remotes were cheap because they could have come from a bunch of remotes that didn't pass the standard quality check because of the crappy material. You are safe; I never saw sparks. I'm just good at electronics.
