Went like clockwork.

I replaced a more powerful graphics card in my wife's PC, only to find that we had lost the box containing what was left of the modular power supply cables (Corsair) leaving me without PCIe power connectors. It arrived quickly, connected securely to the PSU and GPU, and powered up with no issues. My only wish is for it to be a round braided cord like the ones that came with the power supply. The stiff band looks a bit sporty in its fancy case, but smaller than Hamilton's I don't care.

Works great for the price but is misleading

The product works great and has decent build quality but the description really clogs the 8 pin to 2x8 pin 6+2 adapter. The adapter is only 8 pin to 2x8 pin as none of the adapted connectors can separate two pins from the other six. If you plan to buy a graphics card that requires a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector, this will not work without modification.

Don't buy this. for computer components

This cable is so bad. It wasn't even connected properly and a couple of the pins were crooked. Thank goodness I had a spare! I will definitely return this.

Fantastic Life Saver

Not much to say about this product as I wasn't sure if it was what I was looking for. Of course, my research led me to believe this would work, and as advertised, it works very well. I use it for my modular power supply to power my new Nvidia GTX Geforce 1660 TI. It was very easy to manage the cable and it worked perfectly with my new GPU!

How to use it

A few people have expressed disgust that it wasn't wired properly, including my own frustration to the point I was returning an order from them that was due out tomorrow me home. Until you find out, if you just swap the 8-pin and 6-pin connectors, the connector furthest away will connect to the left power connector on the graphics card and the other will connect to the right power connector in both 8+'s. 8 or 8+6 configurations I was shocked because also the part that connects to the power…

Very handy cable inside

This cable looks exactly like the picture and works exactly as expected. This is a handy solution if you have a modular power supply with an extra CPU power connector and not enough PCIE power cables. I found I liked the look of this cable better in my case after carefully separating the individual wires in the "tape" and then tying the bundle together with neatly cut zip ties. You may prefer this look as well and it should also improve airflow a bit.

How to Use It

Some people have been upset about this not plugging in properly, myself included, to the point that I've returned an order of this for my house tomorrow. Until you find out if you simply swap out which side you're using for 8-pin and 6-pin connectors. Check Pinout/Voltage Anything

Works with Gigabyte GP-P850GM, always check pinout with multimeter before connecting anything. I connected the power side and checked the voltage on all pins to make sure it's correct. Also make sure the side of the power supply has the same type of pins (square/curved) as your power supply. check and check again. Good Quality Optional PCI-E Cable

If you need an optional dual PCI-E/VGA cable for your modular power supply, this is a decent quality cable that goes with Corsair type 3 or 4 power supplies fits, some (but not all) Thermaltake consumables, plus a few others; see listing for details.
