I needed a rugged antenna for field use that wasn't too long to fit the space I had to work with. It was the right size and high quality at a reasonable price.

Excellent. Short. Easy construction. And it goes down well. Always on repeater 440 over 50 miles. Well hit with 15 watts. You can use my ht and still get 4 watts. Made 2 contacts on the 146 over 120 miles on the samplex (small range opening) for the price. You cannot summon it

The antenna seems to be of good quality so far. My only recommendation is the product description. There is only the SO-239 connector. I would add that the PL-259 is the correct connector for the male part of the cable. This makes it useful in the description so the buyer can easily identify what to buy for the cable and adapter if they are new to the item/hobby. Just a recommendation. Get consumers to research less and maybe they'll thank you. So thank you!

I needed a dual band VHF antenna that could be placed in the attic (HOA restrictions). I am very happy with the results, especially on the 2M tape. My "installation" is not complete as it is now mounted on a Christmas tree stand that sits on the rafters just above the fluff.
