I am surprised that this Barkbox pet couch really is waterproof, and that it lasts (2 years so far). My rabbit loves to sit on this couch daily and routinely. This Barkbox mat is a nice, thick, firm dog mat that I placed in the family room. Orthopedic mats can be quite expensive. I think that this Barkbox mat is a good price, and the quality seems very good. My elderly sheltie likes it but tends to prefer a smaller, much-less expensive (aka "cheap") orthopedic mat that is kept in the kitchen. The cover is thicker than I thought it would be, should last a long time. The foam is somewhat stiff, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I was seeking a thicker foam, but the price for this was less. It's worth the cost. I'm only giving it four stars because it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, the product looks good though.

I liked that the bed cover is removable and can be washed easily. However, the bed itself came with a large hump in the middle. Even after letting it expand for 3 days, the bed never leveled out. I had to send it back because it would be way to uncomfortable for my Yorkie.

It’s very soft fabric and easy to clean in fact the first week I used it my puppy barfed on it and the cover washed up like a charm and didn’t shrink, I hung it to dry. It fits nicely in a small crate. The only issue I have is the height of the foam leaves gaps on the sides between the crate so I’ve put a baby blanket along the sides in case he steps off. But it’s very soft he seems to be very comfy all night long.

When I first got it I was afraid it was going to be too small but it fits perfectly in the kennel & seems to be more comfortable than a bed we had previously purchased at a pet store.

This is our second of these, and the first was ripped apart due to our mess up (she got to the bed while we were washing the cover). This new bed, our girl chewed through the cover and started ripped at the bed the very next morning after putting it in her crate… the bed itself is really nice and was wearing well, we’re really disappointed the second one didn’t hold up so great.
