Not a bad product. But that wasn't what was expected in the ad, they claim 6 gallons and NO it's not. That's 0.6 liters, less than a gallon. If I had known that, I would not have bought it. It works, but is too small for my purposes.

This page states "Capacity: 6 Gallons" in several places and in the title. It's all bullwinkle and gestures. I pulled it out and it's a nice 0.6 gallon thing. At maximum fog, it lasts about 8 hours or so. Will not turn off automatically when the water runs out. Day.

I like the machine in general - it does its job. But the tank is small. That's my fault as I didn't realize how small .6 gallons are. If you want it to run 7-8 hours at night you need to keep it on the lowest setting. Anything higher and the water will run out. But it has an auto shut off to keep the motor from burning out.

I just bought this humidifier for the bedroom. It works great and the dual-ended pivoting nozzle is very useful. My only complaint is that the product title lists a 6 gallon capacity. Only if you read the specs printed in the fine print will you see that this is a 0.6 gallon capacity. It's still a great humidifier for the price and perfect for a bedroom or other space of this size.

I work for a cat rescue and sometimes cats get upper respiratory infections and need steam. The nozzle can be directed in two directions so when I have two cages side by side this humidifier helps because I can "split" the vapor - it's great too when my husband is sniffing and needs something to clear his head to get. This little car literally saves lives. I suffered severely from sinus problems, mostly stuffy nose and very dry. He always wakes me up several times at night because I can't breathe. I breathe through my nose when I sleep. I filled it up last night and slept for 8 straight hours and woke up with a wet nose.
