Big and bulky on bedding

This duvet is warm and durable but too big and bulky for economy travel. Maybe suitable for business class or first class. Difficult to fold and fit into the small, cramped economy seat. If you get too hot, sit on your knees with a large piece of blanket and get in the way of the tray table. I suppose you can carry a large blanket bag and stow it under the seat in front of you, but that's a different bag.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to fold, heavy weight and attaches to any bag

I have used this duvet on 2 international trips and 2 national trips and now I can't imagine traveling without it. It's a lot of weight - heavier than scarce airplane ceilings, but not bulky either. It folds easily into its own little "pocket" and I love the buckle strap that allows me to easily attach it to any bag. My previous travel rug had a trolley sleeve but I need that precious space for my personal item so this is perfect!

Pros
  • Packs a lot of stuff
Cons
  • Sad equipment

bought this as a gift for my brother, he loved it

My brother travels constantly for work, long flights etc. He needed an airport/airplane blanket. it had to be compact yet portable so he could pack it in a carry-on bag. it was exactly what he wanted. After several trips to the UK, Africa and Europe he reported that it was great! He brings it with him every time and said he's considering keeping another one in his UK office. he said yes, he would recommend it to others.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Will be made

This is a fleece blanket

I like the idea of this blanket. The size of the folded blanket is slightly larger than expected. It looks smaller in the picture. The blanket is a normal fleece blanket. I find the price a bit expensive for the quality. I know a little about fabrics and sewing. I felt like I could buy a nicer fleece fabric and make the blanket myself. Love the size of the blanket, the feel, and the clip so it attaches to anything. In general, I like the ceiling, but I would happily pay $18-20 for it.

  • Only positives
Cons
  • Little things

First impression of duvets and bedspreads

I'll leave it to myself and see how it behaves in flight. Two things. I'm not thrilled with the fabric, it's soft but at the same time feels microfiber. Second, it's a lot bigger than you think. Depending on how much extra space you have in your bag, you may need to attach it to the outside of the bag. If you already have a lot of things in flight, then this is not the most comfortable size. Wtbs, I think I'll probably like the size when curled up in my seat. Let's see how it goes. I can postโ€ฆ

So glad I have these for duvets

I've been camping in Europe for two weeks and was dying to bring my duvet but knew I didn't really have room for it. but it worked so well. I was able to clip it to the front of my bag and it really helped keep everything compact. I could also detach it and store/use it on planes so it doesn't take up any extra space at all in the long run. At first I was worried because it's more than expected, but it couldn't have worked better. I like to have blankets with me on long flights and also inโ€ฆ

My new security blanket

I often ride work buses, planes and cars which always feel cold no matter what country I am in. For years I cursed the operators for setting temperatures just above freezing. I don't know why I was struggling with my own blanket - I think I was concerned about being overweight. Finally I decided to put an end to my suffering, I found this blanket and now I don't know how I used to live without it! I use it all the time, even as a pillow when the temperature doesn't call for a blanket. Somehow I
