I often ride work buses, planes and cars which always feel cold no matter what country I am in. For years I cursed the operators for setting temperatures just above freezing. I don't know why I was struggling with my own blanket - I think I was concerned about being overweight. Finally I decided to put an end to my suffering, I found this blanket and now I don't know how I used to live without it! I use it all the time, even as a pillow when the temperature doesn't call for a blanket. Somehow I feel at home away from home. I was nervous because the fleece makes me sweat, but it's breathable. It could use a bit more room to fold - it's not easy to fit in your average airplane seat, but it's also easy to slip into my backpack and fold up later. I wash it after every ride and it still looks great!
