These fit at the waist but there is way too much fabric making them indeed "poofy" as another reviewer wrote. The front is gathered and somewhat cute with the pockets but it looks like a poodle skirt from the back. They also looked longer on me than they look in the picture. Sent this to someone as a gift and they really liked the shorts. The soft shorts are comfy, casual. The shorts fit well and there is a drawstring.

My fiance loved everything about these shorts. The look, fit, and comfort were much higher than she could have wished for.

Cute but tight. Medium is my normal size but usually a little more wiggle room. These fit more like a small. They’re cute but nit as cute as pictured.

Perfect to hide the tummy and are comfy. They ride up in the middle if you have thick thighs so thats annoying but you can make it work. Don't wear to exercise if you have thick thighs bc you will definitely have your thighs rubbing.

For the price, they are cute for my mom bod. I usually order a larger so they are a little roomy across my thighs but these hug my inner thigh a little more I would like but will probably still keep them. They are also made out of a light jean material - I had trouble telling in the photo if it was jean or a soft material.

I bought these in a size small and I'm 5'5" 135lbs. They fit great! The only issue is when you pick the color green, the picture shows an army green, which I love, but what you get is a mint green, almost Pistachio color. I didn't return them because the fit was so beautiful and I needed them for a lake weekend.

These shorts are super comfortable (material and color are exactly what the pics convey). The waist has good stretch to it. Gives me the sliiightest muffin top but not in an uncomfortable way. If I were to go up a size the rest of the short would be too baggy. When I walk the area around my thigh can ride up (but I am a little on the thicker end in that section) so I find myself pulling on them if I’m walking in them for a longer period of time. I wore these in the wonderful muted colors in the Hamptons and honey , they fit right in! I saw these in stores there for $120 ! Comfortable classic! I’m 5”6 144 lbs and ordered up to large. I wear a T-shirt tucked in loosely and puff it over the waist and wow! Classy and age appropriate ! I’m Bermuda shorts age but uh no thanks! Like being on trend without looking inappropriate as I would in short shorts! Love love! Go to shorts!

I have gotten so many compliments on these shorts. They are true to size and very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the leg and just the right length.
