Nowhere does it seem to mention that a case or display lid is not included. I think they will work fine but I am disappointed that I now have to buy four cases in addition to these mounts. I hope this helps future buyers a little.

A good choice if you have rare, expensive or signed editions that you would rather enjoy on view than in a box. A ruler and a clear pin are all you need. Two pieces of plastic bolt together and accommodate standard or even graded comics.

They are great for mounting comics with or without gradation on the wall to display them as a work of art. I use a small piece of 3M Velcro to attach them to the wall. This makes it easy to switch different comics to rotate what is shown. They are intended for home display, so they are not secure enough that someone cannot steal anything when placed in a public place. Bought for the wall but kept for the stand. Finding a minimal stand for CGC plates is not easy, especially if you want it to be solid. I didn't know it could be used this way before I got it. Table stand rating 5/5 would buy. But how about a wall mount? 2/5 There is such a large gap between the panel and the front bracket (not part of the wall but a protrusion on the front of the panel) that I wasn't sure I would trust it with a panel, which I was willing to do would be risk.
