Description of Comimark VEML6075 Ultraviolet Intensity Detection

The VEML6075 senses UVA and UVB light and incorporates photodiode, amplifiers, and analog / digital circuits into a single chip using a CMOS process. When the UV sensor is applied, it is able to detect UVA and UVB intensity to provide a measure of the signal strength as well as allowing for UVI measurement. The VEML6075 provides excellent temperature compensation capability for keeping the output stable under changing temperature. Package Include: 1x I2C UVA UVB Solar Ultraviolet Light Intensity Sensor Detection Module VEML6075. We highly appreciate all customers opinions to improve the selling, also if anything you unsatisfied, please contact us for probable best solution.

Not worth the hype for my opinion

When I tried this product, it failed to show any accurate reading of UV intensity... It was a complete waste of money and effort. The only good thing about it is that it didn't damage my computer in any way..

Pros
  • No harm to computers
Cons
  • Inaccurate UV intensity readings

VEML removed and replaced with another sensor of the VEML family

I just needed a PCB for a VEML sensor that I used for a research project. The boards I designed worked great, but I was running short of 1 and had to improvise faster than it would take a board fabricator to create another order. Worked great in my IR reflow oven.

Pros
  • If a UV sensor is used, it can detect UVA and UVB intensity to measure signal strength and also measure UV radiation.
Cons
  • Protection
