I bought 1 pack of these hooks because I liked the idea of reusing hooks and minimizing nail holes. I used them to hang shirts, towels etc, none of which weighed more than 5lbs by the way, but I would say within 2-3 days they all fell off and replaced. I even tried cleaning the surface so they stick better or left the glue set before you put any items on it, to no avail they keep falling off. For hanging a wall organizer that was meant to hang over the door. Worked great. In the middle of the Mombrain episode I screwed up and hung one of those things upside down. Check that you are gluing the backs correctly. I hope they don't fall soon, but if they do I'll update them. . 3M Command Strips are usually connected with Velcro. It's not like this. They are sticky on both sides. Real command strips are sticky on the sides that attach to the wall and whatever you're trying to hang, but have velcro on the sides that attach to each other. I tried to hang a very bright painting on the wall. The strips did not work at all - although I followed all the usual instructions - clean the surface and dry before use.
