I like it because you can hear very well, better than acoustic tubes, but I don't like the earpiece because it's hard plastic like old headphones. Unfortunately, it doesn't sit as comfortably as acoustic tubes. The loop that keeps it behind the ear somewhat compensates for this.

I have used this on my Garmin Rino 750 and after tweaking a few settings it has worked great hunting this year. However, my brother-in-law couldn't get it to work properly on his own radio. My dad still uses a Garmin Rino 120 and has only been able to get it working occasionally.

This is my first 2.5mm headset, used in my high quality Cobra walkie talkies so it sounds worse than just the walkie -Talkie to use directly. If I were to order again I would probably try a different brand. That being said, the earbuds actually work and they appear to be very solid and durable.

Push to talk button is not straight so you need to place it somewhere on itself so the cable goes in and out in the same direction and not a straight line from the radio the ear is closed. This cable does not allow VOX transmission, you have to press the talk button every time you want to talk. This may not matter to some, but if you need both hands, you won't be able to press the button. My wife doesn't like the sound quality when she's standing outside the van and leading me inside.

I bought these to use with our dewalt frs radios. If I thought about the price that they had to be damaged, I wouldn't have much money. We like hiking and need free hands. 1st sentence one of them didn't work. The microphone didn't work and the microphone button didn't work. Revain quickly sent a replacement which I received today.
