Comparative Review: Film Processors

This is a review after 1 roll was developed. I have Patterson and AP plastic tanks for comparison. I would call it a copy of the AP version (sold under different names). All parts are interchangeable, but significantly lighter and thinner. This shouldn't be a problem for normal use, but it looks cheaper in a direct comparison. The drums are a more desirable "big tab" type, smaller than the APs with a slightly different tab orientation. I had no problems downloading it. The leak is real whenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Appearance

Coils are great, no tank.

I read mixed reviews about this tank and decided to risk it. I'm disappointed. The coils are great. They are easier to load than brand name coils. However, the tank is leaking, and badly! Every riot left a mess. I developed 5 rolls of film and my kitchen was a mess! I'll learn from my mistake and buy another tank, the one that starts with "P" and rhymes with "aterson".

Pros
  • Packing: 1 developer tank and 2 spools.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Comparative Review of Film Processors

This review was created after 1 reel was developed. I have Patterson and AP plastic tanks for comparison. I would call it a copy of the AP version (sold under different names). Pros
  • Feature: Equipped with two self-closing multi-format spirals. Simultaneous rotating and undulating movements of the spirals ensure smooth chemical movement inside the tank, which can hold 2 rolls of 135/35mm film or 1 roll of 120mm film at the same time.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
